The Rave Octopus Is Always Watching
I still can't get over these mountains on these small islands meeting the North Atlantic Ocean. Visiting the Faroe Islands isn't just about powerful landscapes in a small area. It's also taking in the small villages that dot the islands. Winding your way through the islands by car, getting out, smelling the fresh air and taking in the beauty.
The small village of Syðrugøta is home to one of the largest festivals in the Faroes, the G! Festival. I'm not quite sure where exactly the festival takes place in the village, but came across this interesting area at the edges of town. Giving the diminutive size of the Faroes, I was half-thinking the whole music festival could fit in here.
