The Tangles of Communism

Snaking our way through the hutongs of Beijing, we came across a shop with some nice communist artwork. Hutongs exist primarily in Beijing, and are basically alleyways separating  traditional courtyard residences. Nowadays, it seems that at least some of them have become quite commercialized and touristy. 

I'm not quite sure where the best place to display a piece like this would be? I imagine it would be fun to have one of these guarding a secret passage where you can lift the head up to reveal a switch, Batman-style. That makes me wonder, are there communist-specific super heroes besides the political and ideological leaders?
