Disko Bay Icebergs

While taking an iceberg cruise from Ilulisat, I was amazed at how dramatically the sky changed. Looking back towards land, the sky was relatively clear and blue. Looking out further into Disko Bay however, there was this incredibly rich, rippling cloud formation.

As the boat cruised through the icebergs, there's a never-ending assortment of angles to shoot the icebergs from. It's of course extremely cold outside, and with wind, you definitely can feel the effects, but I was in the zone, shooting away. There was a small indoor compartment with hot tea and coffee, but I went in there for a total of about 2mins throughout the entire cruise as I was pretty dead-set on maximizing out on my photo opportunities. Definitely having gloves on hand, along with cold weather headwear like a hat or balaclava, was incredibly useful. I would have had to spend more time inside without them.
