Waikiki From Diamond Head

I decided to do the hike up Diamond Head the morning of my friend's wedding. The view here is a pretty famous one, as it affords you an absolutely spectacular view of Waikiki and the urban development of Honolulu. Then again, everywhere you go in Hawaii is filled with unbelievably beautiful vistas. It's amazing anyone can concentrate to do any work here when you're sitting on one of the world's best playgrounds.

In the bottom right corner, you can see a bunker that is part of Fort Ruger on the ridge of Diamond Head. Geologically speaking, Diamond Head is a volcanic tuff cone and part of the Honolulu Volcanic Series.
