American Classics In Cuba

NEW Travel Guide To Cuba!

I hope everyone that's following along has been enjoying the photos. A lot of the destinations I go to tend to be a bit more remote and off the beaten path, and require more planning than say a trip to a major European or Asian city. Today I'd like to introduce my first travel guide, the Aisle Seat Please Guide To Cuba. If you're an American, figuring out how to get to Cuba, and if it's legal, can be a bit daunting. I hope my guide will help you plan a great trip. I'll be expanding and supplementing the guide moving forward, so check back for the latest info. If you still have questions after reading the guide, don't be afraid to comment and ask questions so I can improve the guide. What are you waiting for? Check out the guide!

Daily Photo - American Classics In Cuba

If you're a fan of classic American cars, head to Cuba. Seriously. You'll see more classics than you could ever imagine. Even if you're not a fan, head to Cuba and you'll be impressed by these old clunkers that have been beautifully restored.

While they are far from the most fuel-efficient vehicles, it's really quite amazing to be in a place immersed with these cars driving around. Really feels like you were transported back in time. Mostly they're used as tourist taxis, and you can find a slew of them parked outside some popular tourist hotels in the heart of Old Havana.

One of the most enjoyable things I did in Cuba was to take a 2hr tour of Havana in one of these classic cars. It might have been 80 or 90 out, with super high humidity, but cruising around town in one of these convertibles with the cooling wind was well worth it.
