I booked a 2-night tour from Havana to Trinidad to make sure I could see more of this beautiful island than just Havana. As we approached Trinidad, it became clear there was a small storm brewing. Even here, as we cross through the colorful streets of Trinidad by bus, you can see storm clouds everywhere.
Generally the streets seemed to have a mix of normal activity - people going about their local businesses and getting around town. There also seemed to be those people that just hang around with nothing to do. Eventually, a little after sunset you could see a giant electrical storm with lightning strikes sprinkling the sky every few seconds.
Took this shot out of a bus, in Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
